CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-18 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO THE SAFETY ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL <br /> PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 9, 1984, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Safety Element of the General Plan <br /> to make it consistent with the AirDort Land Use <br /> Commission (ALUC) Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated November 2, 1983 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br /> General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential imDacts <br /> in accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact ReDorts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment to <br /> the Safety Element of the General Plan would not <br /> have any significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Safety Element of the General Plan to bring it <br /> into consistency with the Airport Land Use Commission <br /> (ALUC) Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
