CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-10 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE WESTERLY PORTION <br /> OF TRENERY DRIVE AS KAMP DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, with the development of the Mohr/Martin area, the <br /> alignment of Trenery from Santa Rita Road to the <br /> east will not line uD with the historic segment of <br /> Trenery Drive which extends west from Martin <br /> Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the historic segment of Trenery Drive will probably <br /> be permanently terminated as a cul-de-sac off of <br /> Martin Avenue and the residents of this section of <br /> Trenery Drive have expressed the desire to retain <br /> their street's name and rename the western detached <br /> segment of the street where it intersects Santa <br /> Rita Road to avoid confusion; and <br /> <br />I~EREAS, the Director of Planning and Community Development <br /> presented his report (SR 84:09) to Council with <br /> suggestions for a new street name; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The current street segment of Trenery Drive <br /> immediately east of Santa Rita Road shall be <br /> renamed Kamp Drive. The eastern segment of Trenery <br /> Drive which is to be eventually terminated as a <br /> cul-de-sac should remain as Trenery Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, ~ohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~ <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br /> al~er,~~t~y Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City er <br /> <br /> <br />
