THE CITY OF <br />PL£~S~4NTONe CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />December 16, 2008 <br />City Manager <br />Community Development <br />Engineering Division <br />TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT <br />FOR TRACT 7815, ESTATES ON OAK RIDGE (REZNICK PROPERTY) <br />SUMMARY <br />Tract 7815 created seven single-family detached custom residential lots and a parcel for <br />the City water reservoir. The property is located on the south side of the Old Vineyard <br />(Avenue) trail opposite the vacant school site parcel, as shown on the attached vicinity <br />map. The public improvements for this subdivision are complete and ready for formal <br />acceptance by the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept for normal maintenance the public improvements for Tract 7815, Estates <br />on Oak Ridge, listed below. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to issue a final payment of $300,000. <br />3. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There will be nominal costs associated with the routine maintenance of water lines and <br />sanitary sewer when the public improvements are accepted. There are sufficient funds <br />available in the City's Operating Budget to cover the final payment associated with <br />project acceptance. <br />
