CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-09 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REAL PROPERTY PURCHASE <br /> CONTRACT AND ACCEPTING DEEDS FROM TMI <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with aDproved plans for improvement <br /> of Santa Rita Road, it is necessary to obtain <br /> additional rights-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has offered TMI the sum of $430,000 for the <br /> necessary rigtits-of-way and TMI has accepted the <br /> City's offer; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O~ PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Real ProDerty Purchase Contract for <br /> acquisition of additional rights-of-way for the <br /> Santa Rita Road improvements, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described <br /> contract. <br /> <br />Section 3: Accepts the Grant Deed and Grant of Easement from <br /> Santa Rita Business Park, Ltd. to the City of <br /> Pleasanton for the necessary rights-of-way. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes the City Attorney to take whatever <br /> action is necessary to finalize this transaction. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~R <br /> ames R~ ~lker City' Clerk ~ <br />By Doris George~ DeDuty City Clerk <br />AP ROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> · MacDonald, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
