A TTACHMENT 1 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT <br />TO CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES: <br />Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. <br />This First Amendment dated December 16, 2008 amends the "Contract for Consultant Services <br />for "ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS AT <br />SANTA RITA ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE" entered into on March 4, 2008 between the CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON and Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. <br />RECITALS <br />The parties desire to amend the Original Contract to provide additional engineering services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in exchange for mutual consideration, the receipt and value of which is <br />hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br />The Scope of Work described in Attachment "1" to the Original Agreement shall be <br />amended. The additional services will provide for the engineering design of the traffic <br />control system and landscaping improvements at the intersection of Santa Rita and <br />Valley Avenue. The initially approved not-to-exceed contract limit of $111,684 will <br />be increased to $168,622, an increase of $56,938. <br />2.
