CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-08 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ~MENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br /> TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING <br /> SECTIONS 3 AND 6 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br /> for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 9, 1984, the City Council <br /> received and discussed staff reDorts from the Director <br /> of Public Works and Utilities (SR 84:15, 84:16, 84:17) <br /> related to the need for stop signs in two locations and <br /> installation of a no parking zone on Del Valle Parkway; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined .to be necessary to amend Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 3 of Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby amended <br /> by adding subsection 3c-4 as follows: <br /> <br /> "3c-4 Canyon Way, at Stoneridge Mall Road; stopping <br /> traffic on Canyon Way." <br /> <br />Section 2: The existing stoD sign on California Avenue shall be <br /> removed and Section 3 of Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby <br /> amended by adding subsection 3d-6 as follows: <br /> <br /> "3d-6 Del Valle Parkway, at California Avenue; stoDDin~ <br /> 6niy eastbound traffic on Del Valle Parkway." <br /> <br />Section 3: Section 6 of Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby amended <br /> by adding subsection 6d-5 as follows: <br /> <br /> "6d-5 Del Valle Parkway, on the southerly side of <br /> Del Valle Parkway from Bernal Avenue to California <br /> Avenue." <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective innmediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
