CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-586 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL 'IMPACT REPORT <br /> FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND <br /> THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO DELETE <br /> WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AS AN ARTERIAL EAST OF SANTA <br /> RITA ROAD AND TO DESIGNATE AN EXTENSION OF STONERIDGE <br /> DRIVE EAST OF SANTA RITA ROAD TO EL CHARRO ROAD WITH A <br /> CONCEPTUAL EXTENSION TO LIVERMORE (GP-84-1) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council provided proper public notice of <br /> completion of the Draft Environmental Impact Report for <br /> the proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to <br /> comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report from <br /> public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons <br /> having special expertise with respect to any <br /> environmental impact involved, and other persons or <br /> organizations having an interest in the proposed <br /> ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared <br /> and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, <br /> comments and recommendations received on the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to significant environmental points <br /> raised in the review and consultation process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton provided <br /> proper public notice of completion of the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the proposed General <br /> Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council met on December 17, 1985 and held a <br /> public hearing upon the completeness and adequacy of the <br /> Environmental Impact Report in disclosing relevant <br /> environmental issues involved in the event the proposed <br /> General Plan amendment were to be adopted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council finds, after having reviewed and considered <br /> the material in the Environmental Impact Report, that <br /> the Environmental Impact Report prepared is complete, <br /> sufficient and acceptable for the project proposed. <br /> <br /> <br />
