<br />Section 9. Altsratian. There shall be no exterior <br />alters ons or a ons o any structure on any lot until the <br />construction or improvement plans and specifications have been <br />approved by the Architectural Committee ae to quality of <br />workmanship and materials, and harmony of external design with <br />existing structure, which shall include, but not be limited to, <br />the exterior color scheme. <br />Section 10. Business. No trade, business, industry or <br />manufac ur ng o any n s all be engaged in or carrie8 on, and <br />no hospitnl, sanitarium, boarding facility, half-way house, or <br />Institution or similar or like character shall be conducted or <br />maintained on said property or anp portion thereof (except that <br />which is necessary and/or expedient for use by Declarant or its <br />agents to further the development of the subdivision or buildings <br />or structures thereon). <br />Section 11. Animals. No animals, reptiles, rodents, <br />birds, s , vestoc or poultry shall be kept on any lot or <br />elsewhere within the Project except as permitted by the <br />ordinances of the City of Pleasanton. <br />Section 12. P_ a~ Any camper, trailer or boat stored or <br />parka upon ea proper y-shall be concealed from view by a <br />permanent protective decorator type screen of a material and <br />design to be approved by the Architectural Committee. No such- <br />vehicle shall be parked on any street or roadway within the <br />subdivision for more than seventy-two (72) hours. No such <br />vehicle shall, at any time, be occupied while parked on said <br />property, or adjacent thereto. <br />Section 13. 8___to_ ra4e. No used building materials, <br />automo5i'es un er -repo r, trailers, trucks or construction <br />equipment shall be stored on any lot or in the streets or private <br />driveways in the tract except in permanent bui181ngs located on <br />the lot in accordance with the provisions of these Declarations <br />(except that which is necessary and/or expedient for use by lot <br />owners or their agents in the course of development of the <br />subdivision or buildings or structures thereon). <br />Section 14. Screenin of Clotheslines. No. clothes, sheets, <br />blanks a or o er ar c es s a e ung ou to air or dry on any <br />part of said property except in a yard enclosed by a lattice, <br />fence, wall, or other enclosure approved by the Committee. Such <br />enclosure shall be located so as not to be between the front or <br />aide of any house, or a projection of the line thereof, and the <br />adjacent street. <br />Section 15. Appurtenances. No basketball standards or <br />fixed spor a appara us s a e attached to the front of any <br />dwelling or be erected in any front yard or in a aide yard of a <br />corner lot that is adjacent to a side street. <br />
