MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING November 4, 2008 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Vice Mayor Thorne led in the Pledge of Allegiance. Vice Mayor Thorne gave the following introductory comments: The Pleasanton Senior Players annual comedy production, November 7 through Sunday, November 9; a Magical Holiday Evening, November 21; Annual Hometown Holidays Celebration, December 6. He discussed Marines returning home this month and said he would soon resume honoring them at a future meeting. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman Absent: None AGENDA AMENDMENTS: None CONSENT CALENDAR Administrative Services 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of October 21, 2008 Community Development 2. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission 3. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Preannexation and Water and Sewer Facilities and Service Agreement with Richard and Rhonda Hempy for property located at 3568 Vine Street 4. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency for the allocation and disbursement of $8 million in Tri-Valley Transportation Council Development Fee Funds on the I-580 High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Project 5. Accepted public improvements for Tract 7431, Ironwood Development (Ponderosa Homes) and authorized filing a notice of completion Finance 6. Accepted the Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for September 2008 Police 7. Adopted Resolution No. 08-244 amending Resolution No. 08-231 concerning an agreement with the California Highway Patrol for grant funds for police assistance within the Tri-Valley Safety Challenge
