CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-564 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FEES AND CHARGES FOR RECREATIONAL <br /> FACILITIES AND SERVICES OTHER THAN SOFTBALL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing Fees <br /> and Charges for Various Municipal Services)is the <br /> present repository for listing of fees and charges for <br /> the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 3, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services regarding the necessity to change <br /> various fees for recreational facilities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section III of Exhibit A to Resolution No. 77-123 (A <br /> Resolution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various <br /> Municipal Services of the City of Pleasanton) is hereby <br /> amended by replacing the schedule of fees and charges <br /> for recreational facilities and services other than <br /> softball as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes staff to adjust fees and charges for <br /> services and facilities up to 20% of the attached fees <br /> and charges without resubmitting the change to the City <br /> Council. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes staff to provide new programs and classes <br /> at a fee based on the cost of service or established <br /> guidelines; fees for such new programs or classes to be <br /> approved by the City Council within a one year period <br /> from initiation of the class or program. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes the Recreation Supervisors or Director to <br /> continue to enter into contractual agreements for <br /> program services. <br /> <br />Section : This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
