DRAFT <br /> <br /> CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this __day of November 1985, <br />by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation (hereinafter <br />referred to as "City"), and Bissell & Karn, Inc., a California corporation <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: .. <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing, <br />engineering services and has offered its services for the purposes specified in <br />this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgement of the City, it is necessary and advisable to <br />employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of undertaking their <br />engineering services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of'the mutual convenants, agreements <br />and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Service. Consultant shall diligently perform the <br />services and furnish the materials, reports, maps and so forth as hereinafter <br />set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in Exhibit "A", <br /> SCOPE OF WORK, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the City and <br /> other pertinent agencies as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
