CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-510 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO O. C. JONES AND <br /> SONS, FOR PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS FOR FIRE STATION NO. <br /> 3, PROJECT NO. 85-25 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> improvements to the parking lot for Fire Station No. 3, <br /> Project No. 85-25; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on November 5, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of O. C. Jones and Sons, in the amount of <br /> $35,505.80 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of O. C. Jones and Sons be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of O. C. Jones and Sons, in the amount of <br /> $35,505.80, for parking lot improvements for Fire <br /> Station No. 3, Project No. 85-25, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
