CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-502 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A DAY CARE FACILITY, <br /> OFFICE BUILDING AND PARKING AREA NORTHEAST OF AN <br /> EXISTING SHOPPING CENTER AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF <br /> VALLEY AVENUE AND HOPYARD ROAD (PUD-85-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 15, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning <br /> and development plan approval to construct a 7,350 sq. <br /> ft. day care facility, an 8,000 sq. ft. commercial <br /> office building and additional parking area (over the <br /> Pleasanton Canal) north and east of an existing shopping <br /> center located at the northeast corner of Valley Avenue <br /> and Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated September 18, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning and <br /> development plan approval to construct a 7,350 sq. ft. <br /> day care facility, an 8,000 sq. ft. commercial office <br /> building and additional parking area (over the <br /> Pleasanton Canal) north and east of an existing shopping <br /> center located at the northeast corner of Valley Avenue <br /> and Hopyard Road. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 15, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
