CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-499 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION TO MAINTAIN DEL VALLE PARKWAY AS TWO LANES <br /> FROM HOPYARD ROAD TO MAIN STREET AND WIDEN HOPYARD ROAD <br /> FROM THE BRIDGE TO BLACK AVENUE FROM TWO LANES TO FOUR <br /> LANES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 15, 1985, the City Council <br /> considered a report regarding meetings with citizens <br /> regarding the proposed extension of Del Valle Parkway; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, one of the measures proposed by the citizens was to <br /> maintain Del Valle Parkway as two lanes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby determines that Del Valle <br /> Parkway shall be maintained as two lanes from Hopyard <br /> Road to Main Street and Hopyard Road shall be widened to <br /> four lanes from the bridge to Black Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 15, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler and Mohr <br /> NOES: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~ <br /> <br /> ATTEST: ~.~ ~t,/ <br /> ' · MERCEr, MAYOR' <br /> ~NNETH R <br /> <br />/James R.'
