EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Beginning no later than January 1, 1986 the Grantee agrees to offer, as a <br />minimum, the average number of satellite delivered cable services carried on <br />cable systems in the San Francisco Bay Area. At any time during the franchise <br />term that the Grantee fails to offer, as a minihum, the average mumber of <br />satel 1 i te del i vered cable services carried on cable systems i n the San <br />Francisco Bay Area, the Grantee shall cor.~mence a cable s stera upgrade of <br />channel capacity to a minimum of forty (40) video channels. ~he Grani~ee shall <br />complete said upgrade ~dthin a period of fifty-four 154) months. <br /> <br />All City residents, except as indicated in Exhibit G, shall be offered <br />upgraded service at standard installation charges and monthly rates. <br /> <br />No earlier than three years after the completion of the s3'ste~ upgrade to <br />forty (40) channels, the Grantor nay issue findings that the forty (40) <br />channel capacity of the system is inadequate in light of the available <br />services generally offered to comparable communities, and direct the Grantee <br />to expand the system capacity to no more than fifty-four (54) channels uithin <br />a three (3) year period.
