CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-475 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SELECTING PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY <br /> PARK AS PERMANENT NAME FOR 15 ACRE PARK ON THE NORTHWEST <br /> CORNER OF HOPYARD ROAD AND VALLEY AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 1, 1985, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services (SR 85:488) regarding the proposed <br /> names for the 15 acre park located on the northwest <br /> corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission and public testimony; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The permanent name for the 15 acre park located on <br /> the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue <br /> shall be "Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park". <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 1, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> TH R.
