CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-474 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SELECTING VETERANS' PLAZA AS PERMANENT NAME <br /> FOR 0.5 ACRE PARK ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF PETERS <br /> AVENUE AND DIVISION STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 1, 1985, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services (SR 85:488) regarding the proposed <br /> names for the 0.5 acre park located on the southwest <br /> corner of Peters Avenue and Division Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission and public testimony; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The permanent name for the 0.5 acre park located on <br /> the southwest corner of Peters Avenue and Division <br /> Street shall be Veterans' Plaza. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 1, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None ~TH~~~~~/ <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Wood · <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None · <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> R.
