CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> STONERIDGE BUSINESS CENTER LANDSCAPING INSPECTION <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> , by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br /> municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br /> PACIFIC URBAN DESIGN, a California Corporation, (hereinafter <br /> referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, inspection services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their inspection services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant ' s Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, and so forth as <br />hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> 2. city__~e~ic_e__s'. In order to assist Consultant with this <br />inspection, City shall provide a public works inspector, <br />available upon reasonable notice, for assistance with <br />interpreting City policy. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Leonard <br />H. McVicar. Consultant shall not replace him without prior <br />approval of the City. <br /> <br /> 4. Sufficiency of Consultant ' s Work. Consultant agrees <br />that all maps, plans and specifications prepared for City shall <br />be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which they <br />are performed. <br /> <br /> <br />
