CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-444 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO <br /> REDESIGNATE APPROXIMATELY 1.2 ACRES FROM "LOW DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" AND A 1.2 <br /> ACRE SITE FROM "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL", THE 2.4 ACRES ARE LOCATED ON THE <br /> NORTH SIDE OF CRELLIN ROAD APPROXIMATELY 1000' EAST OF <br /> MADEIRA DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 17, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> redesignate an approximately 2.4 acre site located on <br /> the north side of Crellin Road immediately east of the <br /> residences on the east side of Sylvaner Drive and 600 <br /> feet southeast of Chardonnay Drive from "Low Density <br /> Residential" to "Medium Density Residential" and from <br /> "Medium Density ResidentiaL" to "Low Density <br /> Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated July 17, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations aD~ Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan <br /> amendment changing the land use designation for the <br /> approximately 1.2 acre area immediately west of the <br /> Beratlis residence from "Medium Density Residential" to <br /> the "Low Density Residential" and changing the land use <br /> designation for the approximately 1.2 acre area t the <br /> southwest corner of the Beratlis property from the "Low <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
