CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-443 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br /> GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO REDESIGNATE APPROXIMATELY 15 <br /> ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF VINEYARD AVENUE EAST <br /> OF THE TERMINUS OF CHARDONNAY DRIVE FROM "LOW DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" (GP-85-5) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 17, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> redesignate an approximately 15 acre site located on the <br /> south side of Vineyard Avenue and east of the terminus <br /> of Chardonnay Drive from the PUD-Low Density Residential <br /> District to the PUD-Medium Density Residential District; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated August 8, 195 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate <br /> an approximately 15 acre site located on the south side <br /> of Vineyard Avenue and east of the terminus of <br /> Chardonnay Drive from the PUD-Low Density Residential <br /> District to the PUD-Medium Density Residential District. <br /> (GP-85-5) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 17, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
