Box 520 <br /> P1 easanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br /> Control System for the <br /> Vineyard Booster Pump Station <br /> <br /> Dear Bob: <br /> <br /> The Vineyard Booster Pump Station is in the final stages of <br /> construction and should be ccmpleted this month. When the telemetry <br /> and control system is placed in service next summer, the Vineyard <br /> Booster Pump Station will be operated by that system and will pump <br /> water into the Bonde and New Bonde Reservoirs. <br /> <br /> However, between September 1985 and sumer 1986, the Vineyard Booster <br /> Pump Station must be operated manually, which will not satisfy the <br /> water delivery needs of Vintage Hills Subdivision and the Grey Eagle <br /> Pump Station. During May 1985, we discussed the requirement for low <br /> pressure sensors within the Vintage Hills Subdivision and you indi- <br /> cated that the City would ask CDM to prepare a design for the sensor. <br /> In view of this need, we propose to per fore the following services: <br /> <br /> Task i - Prepare Design <br /> <br /> Determine an appropriate location within Vintage Hills Subdivision to <br /> place a low pressure sensor.- Prepare a design for the low pressure <br /> sensor, and specify equipment that will receive signals from the low <br /> pressure sensor, transmit the signals to the Vineyard Booster Pump <br /> Station, and start and stop the pumps. <br /> <br /> Task 2 - Prepare Specifications and Bid Documents <br /> <br /> Detailed specifications and bid documents will be prepared covering <br /> all equipment, materials, and items of work. <br /> <br /> Task 3 - Services D.urin~ Construction <br /> <br /> A. Respond to bid inquiries and clarification requests of prospective <br /> bidders. <br /> <br /> B. Assist the City in evaluating bids. <br /> <br /> <br />
