l'J <br />THE CITY OF <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />[~L£~S~4NTONo <br />November 4, 2008 <br />Finance Department <br />TITLE: ACCEPT THE MONTHLY DISBURSEMENTS AND INVESTMENT REPORT <br />FOR SEPTEMBER 2008 <br />SUMMARY <br />Attached is the City of Pleasanton monthly disbursements and investment report for the <br />month of September 2008, in accordance with the City's investment policy. Although <br />the City has the authority to invest in many different types of investments, staff has <br />historically invested in U.S. Treasury Securities, Federal Agency Securities, and the <br />State Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept claim disbursements in the amount of <br />$16,279,142.86 and the investment report for the month of September 2008. <br />
