CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-433 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PARK LOCATED ON 3.75 ACRES NORTH <br /> OF TAWNY DRIVE AND EAST OF BERNAL AVENUE AS TAWNY PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 3, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services (SR 85:426) regarding selection of <br /> permanent park names for two new park locations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council deferred naming the 0.5 acre park at the <br /> southwest corner of Peters Avenue and Division Street <br /> pending further consideration; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The 3.75 acre park located north of Tawny Drive and <br /> East of Bernal Avenue is hereby officially designated as <br /> Tawny Park. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 3, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~ME~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYORH R <br />/~~.a~mes R.
