CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-426 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF CROSSING GUARD AT THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> HOPYARD ROAD AND ARTHUR DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, residents from the Parkside area have requested the City <br /> to station a crossing guard at the intersection of <br /> Hopyard Road and Arthur drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Traffic Committee that a <br /> crossing guard would be warranted at this intersection <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes an amendment to the budget of the Police <br /> Department for hiring an additional crossing guard to be <br /> stationed at Hopyard Road and Arthur Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 3, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R, MAYOR <br /> <br />,R~D AS TO FORM: <br />Pe%~ b ~ ~cDo~a~d~ <br /> <br /> <br />
