1 1. The County of Los Angeles, upon request by the County of. <br />2 Alameda, will transport prisoners arrested add held by other law enforcement <br />5 agencies within the State on the authority of warrants issued from the <br />4 Count)' of Alameda to a place mutually agreeable to the parties; either to the <br />5 County of Alameda or to a place on the established statewide route of the Los <br />G Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Transportation Bureau. <br />7 2. Such prisoner transportation services provided by the Los Angeles <br />8 County Sheriff's Department shall be provided according to the schedules <br /> established and maintained by the Sheriff's Department of the County of Los <br />10 Angeles. <br />11 3. The County of Alameda, upon being notified that one of its prisoners <br />12 is being held by another la~? enforcement agency within the State of California, <br />13 and desiring that such prisoner be transported to the County of Alameda or to <br />14 the mutually agreed upon location by the Count), of Los Angeles, shall notify <br />15 the County of Los Angeles Sheriff's Pepartment's Transportation Bureau. <br />!6 Notification shall be in the form of a printed message via California Law <br />!? Enforcement Teletype System (hereinafter referred to as "CLETS") requesting <br />18 transportation of specifically identified individuals and will include the name <br />17 of the prisoner, his sex, race, age, location where being held, charge(s) being <br />20 held under, amount of bail, and the name of the Court that issued the warrant <br />21 for his arrest. The message will also indicate the date of arrest and when the <br />22 prisoner will be available for transportation to the County of Alameda or <br />23 ![ 't <br /> location of mutual agreement.,~ <br /> 24 I <br /> 4. The County of Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's Transportation <br /> <br /> 251i Bureau will then send a return message via CLETS to the agency of the <br /> <br /> 26 County of Alameda requesting transportation, confirming receipt of the <br /> 27 notification and request for prisoner transportation, and indicating the <br /> 2~ expected date of delivery of the prisoner to the County of Alameda <br /> <br /> <br />
