CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-403 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF SEWER CAPACITY FOR GEF FINANCIAL CORPORATION <br /> RETIREMENT HOTEL COMPLEX <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2-15.30.01(c) of the City's Sewerage Code <br /> requires Council approval for sale of sewage connections <br /> for any use exceeding 7,500 gallons per day and 3,000 <br /> gallons per day per net acre; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developers of the retirement hotel complex have made <br /> an application to purchase 12,000 gallons per day of <br /> sewage capacity for their project, an amount which <br /> requires prior City Council approval; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GEF Financial Corporation has included in its project <br /> all feasible water conservation measures; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Sewer Committee has recommended that approval <br /> of the application be granted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the application of <br /> GEF Financial Corporation for an additional 12,000 <br /> gallons per day of sewerage capacity. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the Chief Building Inspector to issue a <br /> connection permit in the amount of 16,107 gallons per <br /> day of sewerage capacity in conjunction with the <br /> issuance of a building permit for the retirement hotel <br /> complex. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 20, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmembers - Brandes and But~~lj~4 <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> TH R.
