Approved a third amendment to an agreement with R3 Consultant Group, Inc. in the <br />amount of $50,000 to study refuse collection and recycling services; authorized a <br />supplement appropriation in the amount of $55,000 from the fund balance in the Recycling <br />and Waste Management Fund (Measure D) <br />Community Development <br />Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />8. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 7983 approving the application of <br />Windstar Communities, Inc. for PUD rezoning and Development Plan approval, as filed <br />under case PUD-62 <br />9. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Consultant Agreement with <br />4l_eaf, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $275,000 to provide building and fire permit plan <br />review services <br />10. Accepted public improvements performed by McNamara and Smallman for Annual <br />Sanitary Sewer Replacement, CIP No. 072002; authorized the City Clerk to file a notice of <br />completion, payment of retention in the amount of $44,255.50, final payment in the $2,700 <br />and the transfer of $54,794 to the Sewer Replacement Fund <br />11. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids and awarded and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a construction contract to Precision Engineering Inc. in the amount of <br />$318,000 for the Black Avenue Utility Project, CIP No. 081033; authorized the Director of <br />Community Development to approve and execute change orders in the amount $63,600, <br />the transfer of funds from Annual Water Replacement project, CIP #071028 in the amount <br />of $195,200 and CIP #081028 in the amount of $22,080 to CIP #081033; authorized the <br />transfer of funds from the Annual Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement and Improvement <br />Project, CIP #082002 in the amount $48,960 to CIP #081033 and transfer funds from the <br />Annual Resurfacing of Various Streets, CIP #075003 in the amount of $125,360 to CIP <br />#081033 <br />Finance <br />12. Approved appointments of Brent Alverson, Bernie Billen, Vic Malatasta, Judy Wheeler <br />Ditter and Janet Yarbrough to the 2009 Advisory Board for the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association Business Improvement District <br />13. Accepted the Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for August 2008 <br />Motion: It was m/s by Thorne/McGovern to approve Consent Calendar as submitted and as <br />noted.
