CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-380 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL TO MOVE THE MOHR HOUSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 6, 1985, a representative of <br /> the Mohr House Restoration Committee presented a report <br /> regarding phasing of the moving and restoration of the <br /> house as well as costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was considerable discussion regarding <br /> contributions for the restoration and the desire to <br /> protect the City in the event insufficient funds are <br /> raised; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves moving the Mohr House to the proposed park <br /> site with the understanding that Mohr House Restoration, <br /> Inc. shall work with City staff to confirm that the <br /> necessary resources are available to successfully <br /> complete the move and stabilization, and that the Mohr <br /> House Restoration Committee will provide assurance that <br /> the exterior of the house will be made attractive and <br /> not left in its current state. <br /> <br />Section 2: Should the Mohr House Restoration Committee not be <br /> able to pay for the move, the move will be voided so <br /> that the City will be protected in this matter. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 6, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mo~r and Wood <br />NOES: Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> Mayor Merce <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: B <br /> R NDES JR <br /> · , · <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Br~ian W. ~wift, istant City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
