CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-367 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO DLT LANDSCAPING, <br /> FOR VINTAGE HILLS PARK, PROJECT NO. 85-24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for Vintage <br />Hills Park, Project No. 85-24; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on August 6, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of DLT Landscaping, in the amount of $149,996.09 <br /> was determined to be the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of DLT Landscaping, be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of DLT Landscaping, in the amount of <br /> $149,996.09, for Vintage Hills Park, Project No. 85-24, <br /> is hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves the appropriation of an additional $2,577.09 <br /> to the project's budget from the City's Park Capital <br /> Improvement Fund and adjust the 1985-86 Park Capital <br /> Improvement Program accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
