Actions of the City Council
With respect to the West Angela Street project, Commissioner Pearce inquired why the
applicants were required to pay $2,500 for each unit towards the Bernal Sports Park.
Commissioner Narum noted that the City Council was concerned that there was no green
space within the development and that there was no real park; therefore, the Bernal
Sports Park would serve as their park. In order to fund that park, they directed the
applicant to pay $2,500. She was concerned because that action was taken after the
public hearing had been closed, and that the goal was to make the units affordable for
families. She noted that amount was minimal within the cost of the sports park and
would not buy much.
c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator
No discussion was held or action taken.
9.
