THE CITY OF <br />,,,e.~,p,,. ~ <br />~L£~AS~4NTONm <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Wednesday, August 12, 1998 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 12, 1998 was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Chairperson <br />Cooper. <br />I. ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present: Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; Roger Higdon, City Engineer; Larissa <br />Seto, Assistant City Attorney; and Deanne Helgesen, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Commissioners Present: Chairperson Geoff Cooper, and Commissioners Jack Dove, Kris <br />Kumaran, Mary Roberts, and Matt Sullivan <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioners Trish Maas <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Commissioner Kumaran requested that the following changes be made to the minutes of July 22, 1998: <br />page 11, last paragraph, should read, " ... and expressed support of the project." <br />Commissioner Roberts requested that page 12, paragraph 2, be amended to read, "Commissioner <br />Roberts expressed her concern with the mass of the building as viewed from the 580 freeway and ramp, <br />but was supportive of the project in consideration of landscaping and when shown the pre-dimensional <br />model which demonstrated considerable architectural articulation." <br />Commissioner Sullivan requested that page 12, paragraph 4, be amended to reflect deletion of "...and <br />the developer working with the City's Civic Arts Commission to provide public art. <br />
