Commissioner Sullivan requested that on Page 14, Pazagraph 3, that the following sentence be added <br />"Commissioner Sullivan expressed disagreement with having the open iron fencing on Stoneridge Drive <br />facing the housing for noise issues." <br />Commissioner Dove requested that Page 16, Paragraph 4, be amended to read: "Commissioner Dove <br />suggested that staff address issues relating to the traffic concerns on Ray Street and the possible removal <br />from the General Plan of the extension of Railroad Avenue." <br />The minutes of the July 8, 1998, Planning Commission meeting were approved, as amended. <br />3. Vesting Tentative Tract Mau 7008 Standard Pacific of Northern California <br />Application for Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map 7008 to subdivide an approximately <br />16.1-acre site located at the end of Stoneridge Drive on the southeast corner of Trevor Parkway <br />and Stoneridge Drive into 143 single-family lots. The subject property is zoned PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development)- LDR and MDR (Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential) <br />District. <br />Mr. Swift stated that this item was continued from the July 8, 1998 Planning Commission meeting due <br />to the Commissioner's concerns raised relating to density of project, the use of open fencing, amenities <br />provided for project, and the lack of project's consistency with the General Plan. <br />Mr. Swift referenced a memorandum from Larrissa M. Seto, Office of the City Attorney, dated July 17, <br />1997, relating to the approval or disapproval of the Tentative Map, as well as whether the Tentative Map <br />was consistent with the General Plan. <br />Discussion ensued between the Commissioners and staff relating to density of the project as it relates to <br />the General Plan, the number of average daily trips on Stoneridge Drive, whether the Tentative Map is in <br />conformance with the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Plan, and clarification relating to the <br />Commissioner's findings and decisions. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 2 July 22, 1998 <br />
