CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-356 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON FOR 1985-86 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 16, 1985, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the City Manager (SR 85:353) <br /> regarding proposed insurance coverage in excess of the <br /> self-insured retentions and premiums for the City of <br /> Pleasanton in 1985-86; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Option B of the proposed commercial <br /> insurance program with a $200,000 self-insured <br /> retention. <br /> <br />Section 2: Instructs the staff to work with Mr. Fernandez to <br /> continue to try and place an additional $5,000,000 <br /> umbrella, bringing the City's total coverage to <br /> $10,000,000. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 16, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~C~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pe~f D.
