CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-355 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION IN <br /> CONJUNCTION WITH APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR GRADING AND ASSOCIATED PERMITS TO <br /> ALLOW VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 16, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Prudential Insurance Company of America <br /> for grading and associated permits to allow various <br /> improvements as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Mass grading of approximately two hundred forty <br /> (240) acres of land ("Site") north of Hacienda <br /> Business Park ("Park") Phase I. The Site is bound <br /> on the north by 1-580, on the east by the Tassajara <br /> Creek and on the west by Old Hopyard Road. <br /> <br /> 2. Construct a reinforced concrete box culvert bridge <br /> structure in the Chabot Canal east of the existing <br /> extension of Owens Drive, approximately one <br /> thousand (1,000) feet north of the Hacienda <br /> Business Park Phase I property line. <br /> <br /> 3. Rough excavate for future streets and install storm <br /> drain mainlines, manholes and erosion control <br /> facilities. <br /> <br /> 4. Mound dirt within the Site at the location of and <br /> in the configuration of the future freeway <br /> interchange at Hacienda Drive and 1-580; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated July 8, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental.impacts of the proposed grading permit; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the grading and associated <br /> permits would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br /> <br />
