20. The applicant is encouraged to use permeable paving for the driveways and <br />hardscape areas; sidewalks, patios, etc. Details shall be provided on the building <br />permit plan set to the satisfaction of the Planning Division before issuance of a <br />building permit. <br />21. The applicant shall provide automatic opening sectional roll-up garage doors on <br />the garages of the single-family houses covered by this approval. The door <br />design and material shall be to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development. <br />22. The applicant shall provide high quality siding material on the homes covered by <br />this approval. The siding shall be reviewed and approved by the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development. <br />23. The applicant shall revise the window designs to contain windowsill with trim <br />board under each window. All windows shall be single hung. All proposed <br />arched windows shall be recessed. The windows and window designs shall be <br />reviewed and approved by the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development, prior to building permit issuance. The Director may allow minor <br />changes to the windows for fire and life safety compliance. <br />24. The applicant shall utilize other noise mitigation measures to meet the <br />recommendations of the noise study. Construction modifications, such as <br />diaphragmatic wall construction to control the interior noise levels may allow a <br />reduction in the STC-rated windows. The noise mitigation measures shall be <br />reviewed by the noise consultant and is subject to the review and approval by the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development, prior to building permit <br />issuance. <br />25. RVs, trailers, campers, 5~h wheels, motor homes, boats, or other recreational <br />vehicles are prohibited from being parked or stored on-site; and that these <br />conditions shall be disclosed by restrictive covenant to the future homeowners. <br />26. The proposed project shall be a "green home" with a minimum of points in each <br />category (Resources, Energy, and IAQ/Health) required for a Certified Rating. <br />The applicant shall strive to achieve the 105 points for each home as outlined in <br />the initial checklist submittal. The green building measures shall be shown on one <br />of the first two pages of the plans submitted for issuance of a building permit. <br />Each point identified shall have a notation showing which sheet the item can be <br />found. A special inspection by a representative from the Planning Division shall <br />be coordinated with regards to landscaping, irrigation, and exterior materials. All <br />of the green building measures indicated on the approved checklist shall be <br />inspected and approved by either the City of Pleasanton, a qualified specialist, or <br />the applicant shall provide written verification by the project engineer, architect, <br />landscape architect, or designer. <br />
