ATTACHMENT4 <br />CONTRACT <br />BLACK AVENUE UTILITY PROJECT <br />PROJECT N0.081033 <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 7th day of October, 2008 by and <br />between Precision Engineering, Inc., ("Contractor"), whose address is 92 Natoma Street <br />#209, San Francisco, CA 94105, with telephone number (415) 621-4882, and the CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Black Avenue <br />Utility Project, CIP # 081033 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br />Work to be Performed. <br />The work consists, in general, of providing traffic control; providing and <br />implementing water pollution control measures; potholing operations; furnishing <br />and installing approximately 700 LF of 16-inch DIP water main, including all <br />related appurtenances; Repairing approximately 200 LF of 12-inch VCP sewer <br />main utilizing Cured-in-Place Pipe repair method; and repairing approximately <br />800 LF of roadway trench failure, all along Black Avenue between Hopyard Road <br />and Santa Rita Road. This project also includes repairing one hole on an 8" VCP <br />sewermain utilizing CIPP spot repair method near the vicinity of Nordstrom in the <br />Stoneridge Shopping Mall. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br />by this reference: <br />A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Black Avenue Utility Project, <br />CIP # 081033, and addenda thereto, if any. <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br />C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the <br />Contractor, which the City has accepted. <br />2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City. The quantities of <br />
