ATTACHMENT4 CONTRACT BLACK AVENUE UTILITY PROJECT PROJECT N0.081033 THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 7th day of October, 2008 by and between Precision Engineering, Inc., ("Contractor"), whose address is 92 Natoma Street #209, San Francisco, CA 94105, with telephone number (415) 621-4882, and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Black Avenue Utility Project, CIP # 081033 NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: Work to be Performed. The work consists, in general, of providing traffic control; providing and implementing water pollution control measures; potholing operations; furnishing and installing approximately 700 LF of 16-inch DIP water main, including all related appurtenances; Repairing approximately 200 LF of 12-inch VCP sewer main utilizing Cured-in-Place Pipe repair method; and repairing approximately 800 LF of roadway trench failure, all along Black Avenue between Hopyard Road and Santa Rita Road. This project also includes repairing one hole on an 8" VCP sewermain utilizing CIPP spot repair method near the vicinity of Nordstrom in the Stoneridge Shopping Mall. Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein by this reference: A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Black Avenue Utility Project, CIP # 081033, and addenda thereto, if any. B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in accordance with the Standard Specifications. C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor, which the City has accepted. 2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City. The quantities of
