TO <br />PROVIDE BUILDING AND FIRE PERMIT PLAN REVIEW SERVICES <br />SUMMARY <br />The City of Pleasanton has historically utilized consultant services for building and fire <br />permit plan review. CSG Consultants, Inc., Interwest Consulting Group, and RK <br />Associates have been chosen from a list of qualified consultants to provide building plan <br />review and field inspection services in the City of Pleasanton. In an effort to offer our <br />citizens more choice in the selection of plan review consultants staff believes that an <br />additional firm should be added to provide this service. 4LEAF, Inc. has been chosen <br />as the additional firm for plan review services. This consulting firm has a proven track <br />record of providing prompt plan review turnaround times, accurate plan reviews, and <br />professional and friendly customer service. <br />The proposed new contract (see Exhibit A, sample contract) continues the same basic <br />percentages of the plan review fees paid to all the consultants. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Approve the contract with 4LEAF, Inc., to provide necessary California Building <br />and Fire Code plan review and field inspection services. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the subject contract. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />This amendment will have no fiscal impact on the City. <br />
