19 <br />THE CITY OF <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />j~L£~S~4NTONe <br />October 7, 2008 <br />Assistant City Manager <br />TITLE: REVIEW OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT <br />(CAPER) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007 (07/08) <br />SUMMARY <br />This report describes the CAPER process and makes a recommendation to submit the <br />annual report to HUD pursuant to CDBG program requirements. <br />HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the CAPER for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development (HUD) following a public hearing before the City Council. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve by motion and direct staff to submit the CAPER to HUD. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no direct fiscal impact to the City relative to approving and submitting the <br />Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). <br />
