CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-318 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ROBERT QUATMAN, <br /> INC., FOR AMADOR COMMUNITY PARK, PROJECT NO. 85-3 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br /> addition to Amador Community Park, Project No. 85-3; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on July 2, 1985; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Robert Quatman, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $470,698.38 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Robert Quatman, Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Robert Quatman, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $470,698.38, for the addition to Amador Community Park, <br /> Project No. 85-3, is hereby accepted by the City Council <br /> as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> Robert Quatman, Inc. for the improvements specified <br /> above. <br /> <br />Section 3: Appropriates an additional $30,000.00 of park funds <br /> and $11,000.00 from non-park funds to the project. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
