Identify existing land uses in the project area <br /> and discuss project impacts on these lands. <br /> <br />o Discuss existing and proposed General Plan land <br /> uses and zoning regulations for Pleasanton and <br /> other jurisdictions in the area. Discuss confor- <br /> mance of the project with these plans. <br /> <br />o Discuss general development patterns in the area, <br /> based primarily on ABAG's Projections 85 with con- <br /> sideration of other growth and land use projec- <br /> tions for the area. <br /> <br />o Describe existing growth patterns and discuss <br /> potential for future growth under existing zoning, <br /> particularly in nearby areas served by the subject <br /> interchanges. <br /> <br />o Discuss primary cumulative impacts associated with <br /> or induced by the project. <br /> <br />o Discuss any acquisition requirements for the sub- <br /> ject interchanges, if any. (TASK ORDER NO. 1 as- <br /> sumes no residences or businesses will be acquired <br /> and that a right-of-way relocation study will not <br /> be required.) <br /> <br />o Conduct an assessment of publically owned Parklands, <br /> Natural Resources and Wildlife Refuges pursuant to <br /> Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation <br /> Act of 1966. Potential 4(f) lands could include <br /> Dublin Sports Park or Muirwood Park. The appro- <br /> priate consultation and research will be performed <br /> to confirm the status of these items. (This task <br /> assumes an abbreviated Section 4(f) analysis is <br /> required. <br /> <br />o Provide 4(f) documentation in a separate chapter <br /> in the EA. <br /> <br />o Develop mitigation for land use, growth and <br /> cumulative impacts, as necessary. <br /> <br />Transportation and Traffic <br /> <br />o Utilize the traffic section of the TVTS 1985 Report, <br /> as needed for portions of the EA.
