CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-288 <br /> <br /> APPROVING IN CONCEPT A REQUEST FOR EXEMPTION FROM THE <br /> GROWTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE COUNTRY ROADS PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Brad Hirst, representing the Country Roads project, <br /> requested an exemption from the Growth Management <br /> Program for projects with fewer than 50 units where the <br /> developer has purchased a commitment in the revenue bond <br /> financing program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to grant such an exemption, Council would need <br /> to amend the Growth Management Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney indicated the necessary amendments <br /> could be brought before the Council at the next meeting; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves in concept the request for exemption from <br /> the Growth Management Program for the Country Roads <br /> project on Stanley Boulevard, contingent upon a review <br /> of the ordinance and adoption of changes that would <br /> allow this project to qualify, and directing staff to <br /> report back on June 18, 1985 with alternatives to be <br /> considered by Council. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 4, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Wood <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mercer ~~.~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> c.
