RESOLUTION NO. 85-287 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> NORTH PLEASANTON IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-4 <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This City Council has given preliminary approval to <br /> the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in North <br /> Pleasanton Improvement District No. 1982-4, City of Pleasanton, <br /> Alameda County, California. The report includes plans and <br /> specifications for the construction of improvements described in the <br /> report. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for the Johnson Drive/Stoneridge Drive street improvements not later <br />than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 27, 1985, in the office of the City <br />Clerk located at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that <br />time and place the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, <br />examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if <br />made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br />fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by <br />the City and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice to <br />contractors in the VALLEY TIMES in accordance with the Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is authorized to give <br />additional notice and to distribute additional information as <br />necessary in the judgment of the Engineer of Work, to secure <br />competitive bidding. <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
