CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-243 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING <br /> A 1.75 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 607-675 ST. JOHN STREET FROM <br /> "C-S" (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT)-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> (RZ-85-5) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 7, 1985, the City Council received <br /> a proposed negative declaration for rezoning an <br /> approximately 1.75 acre site located at 607-675 St. John <br /> Street, approximately 60 feet east of the intersection <br /> of Pleasanton Avenue and St. John Street from the "C-S" <br /> (Commercial Service) district to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Medium Density Residential District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated April 1, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />\ public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning an <br /> approximately 1.75 acre site located at 607-675 St. John <br /> Street, approximately 60 feet east of the intersection <br /> of Pleasanton Avenue and St. John Street from the "C-S" <br /> (Commercial Service) district to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 7, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
