CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-215 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER FOR RAILROAD <br /> CONSOLIDATION PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 26, 1984, Council awarded the construction <br /> contract for the railroad consolidation project to O. C. <br /> Jones & Sons; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to changes in the design of the project requested by <br /> the Railroads, the contractor was delayed in commencing <br /> construction and has incurred additional costs for the <br /> requested change order; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the change order of $226,046.69 to the <br /> contract of O. C. Jones & Sons. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Appropriates $226,046.69 to be added to the contract <br /> of O. C. Jones & Sons making the total contract <br /> $4,746,560.74, including all changes orders to date. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> to sign change order A-5, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 7, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood ~~R/~~~,~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> <br /> 'Walker, Ci~ Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> D, <br />P~t~ D.
