23. As part of the improvements for the project, the applicants shall install atwo-inch <br />water service for the benefit of the Brozosky property. The service shall be <br />installed within the right-of-way as described in Condition No. 24 below. The <br />applicants shall purchase and install a g/B x '/, standard permanent water meter <br />for this new water service, shall purchase and install a reduced pressure <br />backflow device, and pay for all applicable connection fees. The water meter <br />and backflow device shall be installed within the right-of-way east of Street "A" at <br />the time the water line is extended to the Brozosky site which shall be at the <br />same time that the applicants extend water service to either the Chrisman <br />residence or to the subdivided lots on the Chrisman property. The water line <br />shall be installed per the requirements of the City Engineer with a minimum of <br />30 inches of cover below original grade. The Chrismans shall finance the <br />construction of a two-inch PVC water line within the Brozosky property and along <br />the westerly property line of the Brozosky site from the backflow device to a point <br />of connection to the existing Brozosky residence/to the existing pipeline from the <br />well to the Brozosky residence to ensure the ability to connect said temporary <br />water line, if needed. The exact location of the two-inch water service in the <br />dedication right-of-way and the two-inch PVC water line shall be shown on the <br />improvement plans for the final map. The Chrismans shall: <br />provide the Brozoskys notice of their intent to proceed within aone-year <br />period from the date of the final map recordation. <br />• coordinate that three bids be submitted to the City. The City shall facilitate <br />the choice of the contractor providing copies of the bids to both the <br />Chrismans and the Brozoskys. Bids shall be submitted 60 days before the <br />grading permit is issued. <br />• deposit 200 percent of the lowest bid to an escrow account to construct <br />the water line. <br />• be responsible for paying any increase in costs of the water line should <br />the actual cost exceed the accepted bid. <br />The applicants' construction of the temporary water supply to the Brozosky <br />residence does not extinguish or eliminate any existing rights that the Chrismans <br />have in and to the existing water well on the Brozosky property. The Chrismans <br />will have continued use of the joint well per the existing rights and easements, <br />etc. <br />This condition supersedes Condition No. 124 of PUD-05 and Condition No. 23 of <br />City Council Resolution No. 03-105. <br />This condition may also be satisfied by a separate agreement signed by the <br />Chrismans/Brozoskys. <br />24. On the final map, the property owner shall dedicate the portion of land located <br />north of Parcel B, east of Street "A", as noted on Sheet 1, "Preliminary <br />Development Plan, Apperson Ridge", of Exhibit A, to the City of Pleasanton as <br />right-of-way. <br />{end} <br />
