PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Pleasanton Police Officers Association expired on May 31, 2008 and, <br />WHEREAS, representatives from the City of Pleasanton have met and conferred with <br />representatives of Pleasanton Police Officers and prepared a successor agreement covering <br />the period June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2011 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1: Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers Association <br />for the term commencing June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2011. <br />Section 2: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br />original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on August 19, 2008. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 19`h of August, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
