CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-197 <br /> <br /> DENIAL OF APPEAL OF aACTIVE SIGN SERVICE OF A DECISION <br /> OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING RETENTION OF AN <br /> EXISTING SIGN AT 3597 DEL VALLE PARKWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 13, 1985, the Design Review <br /> Board considered an application by aActive signs to <br /> retain two existing identification signs on the building <br /> at 3597 Del Valle Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one of the signs was approved as submitted, but the <br /> other (Boswell's) was approved at a reduced size and <br /> with different colors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to the City Council by aActive <br /> Sign Service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City <br /> Council on April 16, 1985 at which time the applicant <br /> and the public were given an opportunity to present <br /> testimony and pertinent information; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal of aActive Sign Service of a <br /> decision of the Design Review Board and requires the <br /> Boswell's sign at 3597 Del Valle Parkway be redesigned <br /> as approved by the Design Review Board. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 16, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
