CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-185 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE 1A, HOPYARD ROAD INTERCHANGE WITH <br /> 1-580 AND APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br /> report dated April 16, 1985, advised the City Council <br /> that plans and specifications had been completed for <br /> construction of Phase 1A, Hopyard Road interchange with <br /> 1-580and that said plans have been reviewed by staff; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 16, 1985, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities relating to the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has volunteered to advance <br /> the construction of the necessary interchange <br /> improvements with the assurance that when the North <br /> Pleasanton Improvement District is formed Prudential <br /> will be reimbursed or credited for their costs and the <br /> attached Improvement Agreement has a clause to allow for <br /> this; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> construction of Phase 1A of the Hopyard Road Interchange <br /> with 1-580. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the Improvement Agreement between the City <br /> of Pleasanton and Prudential Insurance Company regarding <br /> the construction of the necessary interchange <br /> improvements, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described <br /> agreement. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 16, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
