CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-179 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS FROM SAB INVESTMENT FOR FIRE STATION <br /> NO. 2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Partnership Grant Deed from <br /> SAB Investment Company to the City of Pleasanton, a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> this reference, for purposes of constructing Fire <br /> Station Number 2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 16, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this deed is <br /> in the public interest; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Partnership Grant Deed from SAB Investment <br /> Company to the City of Pleasanton for property on which <br /> to construct Fire Station No. 2 is hereby accepted and <br /> the appropriate City officers are instructed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 16, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr and Wood <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> FR[NK C.
