CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-157 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br /> FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO ADD FREEWAY INTERCHANGE AT <br /> HACIENDA DRIVE AND 1-580 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton provided <br /> proper public notice of completion of the Environmental <br /> Impact Report for the proposed General Plan Amendment to <br /> add a freeway interchange to the future location of the <br /> intersection of Hacienda Drive and 1-580 located <br /> approximately midway between the Hopyard/I-580 <br /> interchange and the Santa Rita Road/I-580 interchange; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council accepted and responded to comments to <br /> the Environmental Impact Report from public agencies <br /> having jurisdiction by law, persons having special <br /> expertise with respect to any environmental impact <br /> involved, and other persons or organizations having an <br /> interest in the proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 26, 1985 upon the <br /> Environmental Impact Report and upon the completeness <br /> and adequacy of the Environmental Impact Report in <br /> disclosing relevant environmental issues involved; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council finds, after having reviewed and considered <br /> the material in the Environmental Impact Report, that <br /> the Environmental Impact Report prepared is complete, <br /> sufficient, and acceptable for the project proposed. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council finds that the Environmental Impact Report <br /> for the proposed ordinance has been completed in <br /> compliance with the California Environmental Quality <br /> Act, and state and city guidelines. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
